About

Maston Jackson is a native Tennessean who loves living in and shepherding the people of the Volunteer state.

He has served Hampton’s Crossroads Baptist Church in Cookeville, Tennessee for the past five years.

In full time ministry for 42 years, he has served local churches in Dallas, Nashville, and Knoxville as well as in his hometown of Cleveland, Tennessee.

Maston’s heart beats to make disciples.  From sharing the Good News to walking with those who desire more of the Christ-centered life, he loves helping people. “Jesus ministered to the multitudes, called twelve to walk with him, and took three a little farther. The earth shaking work happens in personal discipleship.”

Maston and Donna have been partners in ministry and marriage for forty-two years.  They have three grown children and sixteen grandchildren, of whom they are very proud.

In addition to family, Maston and Donna have impacted the next-generation of church leadership. They have poured into a growing number of young men who are serving in Pastoral roles, Youth Ministry, and one International Missionary.

“I have a heart for pastors and teachers who have or will soon take their place in vocational ministry.  I know that sound theological training is critical.  I also know that there is a great need to pass on practical lessons born of experience.

Shepherding is a hands-on calling that has found many a pastor missing a skill set or two. It is my prayer that you find some tips, how to’s, and helps that strengthen your ministry.”
